2011 Pricing
one hundredth gallery is dedicated to exhibiting aspiring and emerging artists and doesn’t charge huge commissions to display artists’ work.
Instead, the one hundredth gallery concept revolves around renting out wall space at a reasonable fixed cost with a small commission on sales.
gallery pricing
one hundredth gallery’s pricing structure is as follows:
- Rented wall space is for two weeks at a time (including bump in and bump out)
- Each linear metre of wall space costs $110 per fortnight
- Artists can rent the gallery on a wall by wall basis with a minimum of only one wall
- There are ten walls available | 1 x 1.0m | 1 x 1.5m | 1 x 2m | 1 x 2.6m | 1 x 3.0m | 5 x 3.6m
- The 2.6m window wall is not for rent as artists will have complimentary access to it
- Front room | 11.2m | $1232 per fortnight
- Middle room = 14.4m | $1584 per fortnight
- Whole gallery = 30.7m | $3091 per fortnight
- Sales commission is 11% of the selling price of each artwork
- All prices include GST
- All artists who exhibit in the physical gallery will receive a complimentary online exhibition (as per below) for up to ten of their artworks

one hundredth gallery’s online gallery is supported by a facebook, twitter, and 100thgallery.com promotion campaign.
For artists who are not exhibiting in the physical gallery, one hundredth gallery’s online pricing structure is as follows:
- $220 for four weeks on 100thgallery.com and fb.com/100thgallery for up to ten works (including GST)
- No sales commission
- Online space is limited to ten (online only) artists at any one time
gift vouchers
Gift vouchers are available for each of the walls and for online exhibitions.

These pricing models turn ‘normal’ gallery pricing on its head and allows artists to better control the value of their work without losing 40% – 70% in commissions.
Artists need to submit the portfolio of work that they wish to exhibit so that the exhibition can be best curated.
