Having spent over 20 years in marketing roles in the media, and over a decade running her own marketing business, Bambi Gordon has always been addicted to communication. Good marketing is telling a story, grabbing attention, being original.
As is art.
Bambi always thought she would eventually write fiction… After being diagnosed with breast cancer in 2009 she has felt compelled to embrace visual art – including abstract photography, paint, drawing and assemblage sculpture – to tell stories. Facing cancer, letting go of fear, has given her the freedom and the strength to just go with whatever she feels has to be created and shared.
She hasn’t abandoned text. She recently authored a children’s book (illustrated by Joi Murugavell) with 2 more books completed and awaiting print. And she can occasionally be found writing her own Artist Bio.
